/\ Despite being big enough to crush any animal, elephants give way to weaker animals unless they are really thirsty. Only rogue bull elephants throw their weight around. Female elephant matriarchs which lead the herd also attack predators that come too close to the young. Bull elephants are only allowed to come close to the herd during the mating season.

National geographic from Spain:
Silverback gorilla finds fresh leopard tracks which means a leopard is very close, the gorilla is not affected by it. The narrator says young gorillas are at risk, but no leopard wants to face this 200 kg silverback.

There is no greater authority on the great apes of Africa than Jane Goodall. Her words, "The only natural predator of the gorilla is the leopard, which may prey on young or weak gorillas." can be carved in stone.

That's definitely true although i would say Dian Fossey and George Schaller are on the same level as Goodall.

Quote, "Has any body seen this video? I agree with it." Wow! This is IMO, the best information on this topic that I have seen and listened to. I would not consider this information biased in any respect.

I am pretty sure the uploader of that video is either a member of these forums or at least he has read this thread we are on right now, most of that info, studies, and accounts are from this very thread, also, his reasonings are the same as mines.

The documentary claims that the leopard is pound-for-pound the strongest cat. Maybe so, but he is a light-weight. Compare him to a jaguar at equal head-and-body length; the fair comparison.

This would coincide with what the majority of posters claim in forums.

His video of Grizzly bear vs Siberian tiger-The honest truth is also very good. I really appreciate his channel.
