I just set up the member ranks, whoever wants to be a short faced bear has to reach 8000 posts, lmao. But always remember, quality over quantity.

Quality over quantity is the best. Sometimes we might get both quality and quantity at the same time.

This person on quora loves my answer and he us a smart guy. Read what he says,
Who would win a fight between a lion and a grizzly bear?
Tim Anderson Wow Brother that's quiet a good post, it seems as though you have made many of the incidents that I was gonna be rolling out when I got home in order to post my sources, but it appears that you've got everything handled already. You sir have just freed my evening up for me. Much obliged and love to you brother, thanks!
SYED MOJIZ ALI TIRMIZI
Thanks bro. I appreciate your honesty. If you wamt to know moore about lion, bear or tiger so i can show you some sources.
TIM ANDERSON
I didn't realize the amount of rabid fans that are seem to take it personally when their favorite felines don't end up on top of a battle with bruins. I am blown away by the amount of vitriol that I have found in these “discussions”. I wholeheartedly understand the passion that we all feel in regards of our favorite beasties but it is a little frustrating to see that people are literally ignoring the well documented points of professional biologists who have more expertise than most of us, but to be fair on both sides I have found some instances of this on both sides (But nowhere near the times of this on “team kitty” it's straight up silly brother you know what I mean?) Anyways we could talk until we are blue in the face but for some people that get emotional over this we will never be able to get them to change their minds about this.
So because of this I have had to “boil this down” to a few sentences that I believe sums it up. Tigers are ferocious and their better of the two when it comes to hunting. They are far more capable of predating their preferred prey. But bears are 100% the greatest at kleptoparisitism in the world on land. They are gonna wreck even the largest tigers in the world face to face. Not sure why people make it out as a painful tragedy about bears defeating tigers in this way. There's no shame in losing a fight with a bear. It doesn't hurt me to say openly that there have been times where tigers have been able to kill bears at times so why is it so painful to understand that bears have killed tigers at times.
I've found it impossible to say with 100% certainty and fairly in a battle between the two. It wouldn't be a “fair” fight by any standards, because giving the tiger the advantage of ambush wouldn't be considered fair by most people. But in a face to face confrontation the bear is given the advantage which wouldn't be fair. Because tigers ONLY ambush to kill and bears would have the advantage in a face to face fight. These two traits are the reason why these 2 powerful have been able to stay alive and flourish in this brutal world.
Because of your great post I want to commend you and offer you something neat. I am not a proffesional paleontologist or anything like that but I have been blessed with the opportunity to find something of great interest (at least to me) while visiting family in Montana. I'm unaware of where you live, but as long as it won't cost me an arm and a leg, I would be a very happy person to send you something amazing to you. I had quite literally stumbled over 2 fossilized claws from a Giant Short Faced Bear (Arctudus) and for your great post I'd be happy to give you one of them without any sort of payment on any level. I have some silver wire that I could do my best to wrap it with to turn it into a pendant that you could use it as a necklace. Or if you'd prefer it I have a decent sized megalodon tooth. Or should you prefer that I just send you the fossil I can send it just as is.
Let me know if you'd like me to send you some pictures of them to see what I'm speaking of. I wanted to do some kind deed today, so just let me know brother and again no money, or payment of any level in anyway. I mean every word that I have said. Oh and my name is Tim and I'm hoping that you have yourself a good day brother.
SYED MOJIZ ALI TIRMIZI
Thanks for your answer brother. My real nane is Syed mojiz ali tirmizi and i am from Pakistan. About feline fans debate, i have just gave up for a long time before. Debating with them is useless as you are going to waste your information, energy and time upon that and the other is just going to ignore it. Everything you said about bear and tiger fight is 100% true and i appreciate your words and understanding.
Yes, bears are kleptoparasites and tigers are hunters. Tigers job is to hunt food and bears job is to steal the food. Thats the difference. I advice you to never waste your time with feline fanboys as they will waste your time and energy and they will not change their mind.
About those photos you said me to send. Honestly, i will really love to see those and would save them. Finding such things is really hard so i would love to see the photos of short-faced bear remains that you would send me.🙂. Post those photos right over here sir!
Again thanks. Such honest and sensible people like you are rare to see.

Exactly what it says, a tiger killed a 2 year old polar bear cub. Not only that, but captive polar bears are weak, overheated, and most likely sick. And if i am interpreting this phrase right, it sounds to me that it was done by ambush:
"It was during his act with the tigers and bears that disaster struck when one of the bears was attacked by the tigers. The August 7 edition of the Cornish Guardian featured a report of the event which told the tale of the incident, saying: “One of the tigers jumped onto the bear and broke its neck, leaving it helpless to defend itself."

A two year old polar bear is not even sexually matured. There is an account of a barren ground grizzly which had killed a 2 year old polar bear too.

Captive polar bears rarely grow large outside their environment especially before Animal Rights Act was established.

A two year old polar bear is not even sexually matured. There is an account of a barren ground grizzly which had killed a 2 year old polar bear too. There is also an account of a sloth bear that killed a polar bear in captivity. No info on the animals, most likely a polar bear cub also:
