/\ This looks.like an exceptionally large female brown bear. Probably heavier than any male Ussuri black bear. Linda Kerley did say that Amur tigers are capable of preying on the largest female brown bear. How heavy do you think that bear is?
If a female brown bear weighs more than 400 pounds during summer to early autumn. I would say they will probably weigh more than 600 pounds during winter. |

Unfortunately, the study where that female brown bear pic is from does not state the weight, so its up for interpretation.
Having said that, that pic was taken on December 6 2017, most brown bears should sleeping by late November in that area, so she should be a very late hibernator, i dont think she is a Shatun though. |

An exceptionally large male Kodiak bear will surpass that of an average male Ussuri brown bear.
