When I reach the end of a manuscript, I dread writing the conclusion because a conclusion requires a great deal of thought and effort. Just as we were nearly done polishing my non-fiction book, Kodiak Island Wildlife, the editor said he believed the book needed a conclusion, and I groaned, but I also agreed with him. I don’t know how long I stared at a blank computer screen, but I could think of nothing to write. How do you sum up a book about wildlife? Then, as I stood on our boat one morning, watching giant fin whales with our guests, the conclusion for my book popped into my mind, fully formed. When I read it to my husband, tears came to my eyes, and I knew I had done my best work. My editor agreed, and he said it was the perfect ending. The following is the conclusion for my recently released book, Kodiak Island Wildlife. robinbarefield.com/category/wildlife/kodiak-bear/

Well no, its really not necessary to pay to newspapers.com anymore. Some years ago i paid for 1 year, and i did this to search for accounts of bears either killing or defeating tigers/lions. And trust me, i used every search keyword possible to find them, and i did find some of bears killing lions, even polar bears. My point is that i already been there for 1 year and there is basically nothing left to find as far as animal fights are concerned. Starfox/Counter strike was another one of the few posters that was subscribed there also and he found tons of lion killing tigers accounts. If anyone finds a new account, it would be like finding gold because some of us have really looked hard not only in Newspapers.com, but also in other free newspaper searches like "papers past" and "Trove", so we have looked everywhere.
Some examples of accounts from Newspapers.com: (look at the links in the other thread)
NOTTINGHAM: GRIZZLY BEAR KILLS LION INSTANTLY BY BREAKING ITS SPINE.

The juvenile eagle sadly got careless. Oh so that was a juvenile? Yes. Juvenile eagles sometimes act more recklessly too. Juvenile bald eagles can easily be confused for golden eagles. That is why it is important to take a careful look at their beak and feet.

A Kodiak bear would beat any extant bear except for a male polar bear in Foxe Basin.
