All of the sources that I have seen of tigers killing bears are all stating: "very big bear" or "huge bear" but don't show any documents. When the do, the bear looks quite small. Every source says "adult bear" but no "adult male". I have yet to see one that did. Yeah, "very big bear" or "huge bear" are very wide descriptions, people always see a "huge bear", but in reality, the bears killed by tigers are always smaller, about 100 lbs smaller than the tigers (see reply #4).
Example #1)
This poor ,old emaciated bear was describlead as a GIANT "Гигантского"
"This is a very, very, very old male. He has a little bit of fangs, he has no other teeth at all, ”said Vyacheslav Kastrikin, deputy director of the Khingan Reserve, Amur.info. - This male, except for semolina porridge, could not eat anything else, therefore such a thin one. He was just dying from old age. "

Example #2)
See the title "Big'' Bear Attacks Man in Colorado After He Accidentally Went Near Her Cubs", but then you read and you find out that its a female black bear: (no extant grizzlies in Colorado)

I sometimes think that despite of the facts that tigerfans are in majority compared to bearfans so why did the polls end in the favour of the bear. I mean, suppose if tiger fanns are 60 and bearfans are 30 so why the polls end as bear 70 and tiger 50?
There is a reason behind this.
First of all not only bearfans vote the bear in the polls. There are non-fan smart members and smmart honest tigerfans who also favour the bear. For example,
What kind of honest non-fan smart poster are who favour the bear, let me show:-
1.One Animal fight Club, i messaged a person named condetereode (wrong spelling) that,
Question from me:- "Who would win between tiger and amur bear and are you tiger fan or bear fan?"
Answer from him:- "I am fan of non of these animals, however i would favor the grizzly as it is larger, more stronger, have more stamina abd is more durable. Whats your opinion?"
2. On Carnivora a person quoted my post and said that, "Although i like the Siberian tiger more but i still favour the bear."
As we can see that not only bear-fans but such smart persons too favour and finally vote the bear in polls.
About smart tiger fans favouring bears over tigers, there are examples of peter or paul cooper etc which nearly everyone has seen.
So there are three types of persons that favour bear in polls. BEARFANS, SMART NON-FAN POSTERS AND SMART TIGER FANS which i have shoown with examples.
Now on the tiger side there are only fan boys remaining which favour the tiger.
In the conclusion it is again proved that every smart person will favour a bear no matter if he is a smart non-fan or smart tiger fan.

DESPITE ACTIVE PERSUIT ON THE PART OF TIGERS, HIMALAYAN BEARS AT KHEKHTSIR WERE USUALLY NOT AFRAID OF FRESH TRACKS, WENT ALONG THEIR PATHS. ONLY 1 BEAR OF THIS SPECIES RAN AWAY AFTER GETTING THE FRESH SCENT OF A TIGRESS.
A BROWN BEAR IS ALSO CAPABLE OF BEING THE FIRST TO ATTACK THE TIGER AND PERSUE IT TO GET PREY (SYSOEV, 1960, 1966, KOSTOGLOD, 1981) OVER THE TERRITORY OF KHABAROVSK KRAI AND PRIMORYE, REMAINS OF TIGERS KILLED AND EATEN BY BROWN BEARS WERE REPEATEDLY FOUND (SYSOEV, 1960, 1966, RAKOV, 1965, 1970, GOROKHOV, 1973, KOSTOGLOD, 1977, 1981)

Reply #26, very nice mate, so it was an animal hunting movie, which the fanboy who made it added the dead bear scene, not real huh, lmfao. No wonder the guy who uploaded the video is called "tiger owns bear"
Look at his whole channel by the way, it all about tigers and tigresses destroying male bears (that's what he says, lol)

Of course, i can also tear a bear limb from limb when the bear is already dead.
Who is the Hemstring tiger? Never heard of him. There has never been a confirmed account of a tiger killing an adult male brown bear. Here is an email that Dale Miquelle (WCS Russia director) sent to a poster of another forum:
"I also dont know of a case where an adult male brown bear has been killed by a tiger"

Nice King Kodiak. I might spelt his name incorrectly. He was mentioned in Der Tiger by V Mazák. Unfortunately the book wasn't published in English so it was a horror to translate.

Yeah, that kill is mentioned here at The Siberian tiger project (TSTP) chapter 19, its the one reported by Sysoev in 1960:
12 KNOWN CASES OF BROWN BEARS KILLING AND EATING TIGERS IN THE WILD, INCLUDING 6 ADULTS. (WE KNOW FROM OTHER RESEARCH THAT 2 WERE YOUNG ADULT MALES OF AROUND 4 YEARS OLD)

arctozilla : The book "Amba" is fictional, but some (including Peter), think that Sysoev may have used a real fight that he witnessed for that book, and as you can see by my post above, TSTP (which is peer reviewed) even included it. Here is the recreation made by Sysoev from that book:

Reply #39, wow very nice buddy! Never seen that before. And its from a great source, The Amur tiger programme. Its not everyday a bear killing tiger account is found, and its from 2017. Now lets try to find more info about "Uporny", lets see if he was a subadult or adult.

Well if the account is from 2017 then WWF said that he was captured at age of more than 3 years in 2014 then released in the wild after one year. So deducting this he died as adult. wwf.ru/en/resources/news/amur/eksperty-vyyasnili-prichinu-gibeli-tigra-upornogo-/
