/\ Good hypothesis. Never heard of a leopard attempting to prey on a full grown adult sloth bear. Me neither mate. It wont in real life.

Polar bear vs smilodon populator.
A smilodon populator clone was brought back to life as some scientist wanted to see how strong it is. The scientist pitted other big cats and even an American black bear against it. The 900 pound Smilodon ended up the winner in all these fights.
Finally, a huge male polar bear was captured from the arctic. At 1540 pounds, the male polar bear was made up of a combination of fur, fat, muscle, and heavy bone. Unleashed into the arena, the huge male polar bear chased off the smilodon populator from its food before chasing it round the arena. Although the Sabre toothed cat is faster, it was eventually cornered.
The male polar bear mauled the smilodon populator to death.

Kodiak bear vs smilodon populator
A Smilodon populator was brought back to life, he was a 1050 lb specimen. He was taken to Kodiak island. On the first day he killed an adult female by ambush. A few days later he ambushed a 1500 lb male, but the ambush went wrong and a fight started. The bear stood on hind legs and striked the smilodon in the face, the smilodon went for the neck but the bear grappled him down with force, the bear bite into the spine breaking it and crippling him. The bear eat the smilodon alive.

/\ Big mistake to ambush a Kodiak bear. Even a larger male polar bear will defeat a 1050 pound male smilodon populator.

Polar Bear vs. Siberian Tiger.
A Siberian tiger is feasting on its kill, and a Polar bear is roaming around, looking for food. The tiger then suddenly spots the bear. Not in the mood to share, the tiger roars at the Polar bear to back off, but the bear ignores the warning and continues to advance. The tiger tries a body blow, but the Polar bear absorbs the impact without losing balance. The tiger then tries to land a killing blow on the Polar bear's neck, but the bear pushes it down. The Polar bear then approaches the kill, but the tiger recovers and pounces on the bear from behind, cutting him with its claws, but fails to disable him. The much stronger bear turns around and using his superior strength against the tiger's speed and agility, overpowers the tiger by pawing its face. The Polar bear then breaks the tiger's spine and finishes its off with a neck bite, killing it immediately .

An alpha male chimp was expelled from its group and was wandering alone searching for food. He encountered a lone Silverback gorilla. The gorilla charged at the chimp, the chimp bite the gorilla on the forearm, the gorilla striked the chimp in the face and pushed him back, then the gorilla grappled the chimp down and made a bite to the skull killing it.

oldindigosilverback I have a nice request for you, a never before seen hypothesis:
Pantanal jaguar:
VS
Brontornis Burmeisteri:

Post by oldindigosilverback on Oct 10, 2021 21:23:16 GMT -5
Here goes: A huge male 300 pound jaguar chases a tapir into the more open areas. The tapir accidentally runs into an 880 pound female Brontornis which pecks it to death. The jaguar stops in his tracks as he has never seen a predatory bird heavier than himself with a giant beak that could easily kill him.
Normally, he would run away from such a formidable foe more than twice his weight. However, being a young 4 year old male and hungry, he leapt at the brontornis attempting to kill it. The brontornis turn her head on time and thee jaguar latch onto her chest and neck. The brontornis shook the jaguar off before kicking and pecking him to death.

A population of ten Gigantopithecus blackis were brought back to life by some scientist who wanted to increase the population of wildlife in the USA and Canada. They sent to a remote part where black bears and cougars live. Overtime, the apes did well and their population grew from ten to a thousand. They got along well with the peaceful American black bears and at times were able to feast together side by side. Due to their huge size, they were generally safe from cougars.
Yet sometimes, tragedy might happen, a three year old sub adult gigantopithecus was killed by a cougar one night. The angry troop leader vowed vengeance when he found the dead body. The next evening, the same 220 pound male cougar attempted to kill an infant. This time, the troop leader was ready and well prepared, he charged the cougar which caused it to run away knowing the male gigantopithecus was too large for him.
However, there was no trees to escape and this time, the cougar found itself cornered as there was a huge male black bear near the clift. Having no choice, the cougar fought back with all his life and managed to deliver a skull bite. The much larger and heavier gigantopithecus, however, easily manhandled and snapped the cougar’s neck, thus avenging his sub adult troop member.
The ape won with some scratch wounds and bite marks on his head and shoulder.
The American black bear bear the cliff was feeding on a kill he had stolen from the cougar hours ago.
