The Gobi brown bear, which is one of the smallest of its kind. Adult males weigh just 211 to 304 pounds (96-138 kg), and females half that amount.

The Gobi bear seems to be the 'barren ground grizzly' of the east. Probably more aggressive than the Tibetan blue bear.

Study results
Adult male bear average body length was 165.03 cm, body weight 104.98 kg, crest height78.58, hip height 73.69 cm, chest girth 99.33 cm, neck girth 61.09 cm. Whereas, adult female average body length 145.67 cm, body weight 76.33 kg, crest height 65.17 cm, hipheight 68.83 cm, chest girth 81.75, neck girth 47.08 cm (table 1).
