/\ Still the 1795 pound male Kamkatcha brown bear is heavier than Stan, the exceptionally large male polar bear.
However, I doubt the Kamkatcha brown bear will be as aggressive.

We would have to see a confirmed report of a 1,795-pound East Siberian brown bear, which is normally somewhat smaller than an Ussuri brown bear, before we claim this as a fact.

I would have to read a biologists report to accept a 2,490-pound brown bear. I wouldn't call it impossible, but I give it a very strong unlikely. Whoever estimated that bear's weight (I assume estimate) must have seen one extremely big bear. I agree with everything you said. Unlikely but not impossible. They might be referring to the Bergman's bear (Ursus arctos piscator), a cryptid giant bear.

So according to this data, the average weight of the Kamchatka brown bear 7 years old +, is 268.7kg (592 lbs), of course some of these were not all full grown specimens, so the average for just full grown specimens of 9 years old + would be higher. And it should be higher than Ussuri brown bears who average 286.4 kg (631.40 lbs) for 9 year old + specimens:

The largest specimen of Kamchatka was 410 kg (904 lbs), but of course, in this thread we will find much larger historical specimens.
So its clear to me, that looking thru this thread, the Kamchatka brown bear (9 + years) is larger both at average and max weights that the Ussuri brown bear.

Not many Ussuri brown bears are larger than a 904 pound Kamkatcha brown bear (which is surprisingly similar in weight to the average Peninsula Alaskan grizzly bear). The 1000 pound to 1320 pound Ussuri brown bear is just as rare as a 1540 and 1760 pound male polar bear.
Back to topic, the record Ussuri brown bear (which is larger than all Kamkatcha brown bears) represents Van who is larger than all Kodiak bears and most male polar bears. At least that is my honest opinion.

/\ This Kamkatcha brown bear is a bit hard to differentiate from an Ussuri brown bear.

/\ A 560 kg kamkatcha brown bear at winter weight will be weaker than a 560kg Peninsula Alaskan brown bear in my opinion. Regardless, it seems that fat does not inhibit the movement of the bear much nor do they get diabetes etc.
