I know the idiot who highlighted that, what he really means is morphological advantages, not ambush advantage.
That is because that bear killing that tigress at Clyde Beatty is the ONLY...and i mean the ONLY documented case of a bear ambushing a tiger in history. Now that tigress knows how it feels, let the bear do it for once, LMFAO. but he highlights it like it happens regularly while it is the ONLY documented case in history. A bear ambushing a cat with all its senses is ridiculous.
Ok great, it can happen. This is worse here:

I agree, especially the morphological part. He made his spin-off of the account. A bear can’t have EVERY advantage against a lion or tiger. And sneak attack is something tigers do. I don’t even know why the account says that…

It says that because the bear called "Bill" killed a tigress at Beatty's circus by the back, by ambush, that is true, its in his book. But like i said above, that is the ONLY documented case in history of a bear killing a feline by ambush.
Side note: so people dont get confused, the 2 tigers and 1 lion killed by bears at Roman Proske's act were not done by ambush, only the Beatty's act event was. That screen shot can be a little confusing as it is talking about 2 different events in the same paragraph.

Question; why does a tiger always choose a bear smaller than himself to ambush when hunting? If he could kill a bear of his own weight face-to-face, then surly he would choose a bigger bear to ambush - more meat.

You are right King Kodiak. Neither lionfans nor tigerfans have too much opinions favouring their animal as much as we have. We alreadily know that what shit sources lionfans use and what wrong interpretions tigerfans do. If they find new opinion so that is not going to bother us because opinions still prepondrate them. Anybody can compare our opinion thread with those of cat fans, we have too much opinions which they do not. Further our opinions are not just more but also have more varity than they have. Almost every famous hunter, biologist, historical writer (non-fiction), animal trainer and naturalist favour the grizzly bear. Further from all of other opinions ftom a varity of experts, some carry more importance than others like the Clyde beatty's opinion is the most important from all as he is the most experienced animal trainer and he favours the bear. Theodore Rossevelt, the most experienced of all hunters in the world favour the grizzly. Wayne lynch, a famous zologists favour the bear. Sysoev, one of the famous hunter and naturalist in the russian far east favour the bear over tiger.
Now as we can see that we have tons of opinions so saying that "experts favour big cats over bear is wrong". An example here that some authorities favour grizzly bear over tiger.
Howard Ward says that small bears can murder big cats, so according to him a bear would also win at equal weights.
Oh, not to forget that the famous animal trainer, Frank buck, also favoured bear over big cats at equal weights.

Thanks bro. Yeah, its very very hard to find never before seen accounts, especially from biologists, it seems almost impossible because everything has been searched and found already. but incredibly enough, a new account appears from time to time, like that one, and its from Abramov.

Exactly bro, head on the bear has a greater advantage over the big cats, all cat species by nature are still ambush killers, even the lion to a large extent, but the bear is designed to literally hold off multiple animals like a wolf back head on from all directions I think.

Well, Cooper is one of the smarter tiger fans, he has always favored larger bears over tigers. And at weight parity he thinks its a toss up. His real interest is tiger vs lion. Also, he doesn't even post in forums since like 1 year ago, now he just posts at Discord, barely anyone joins forums anymore, now most posters have shifted to Discord. Anyhow, this is mostly a "bear fans" forum, here we mostly research about bears and gorillas. No tiger fans here, unless its Peter, but he wont leave Wildfact, lmao.

"Browns bear kill and eat tigers sometimes. "The brown bear Ursus arctos is a suitable species for studying the variation in the carnivory level at the global scale. Although omnivorous, brown bears are accomplished predators and scavengers, and consume meat whenever it is available. Their diets are diverse, and important components can include plant material (Mattson et al. 1991; Rode et al. 2001), honey (Kalaber et al. 1994), fungi (Mattson et al. 2002b), earthworms (Mattson et al. 2002a), ants (Makarov 1987; Swenson et al. 1999; Grosse et al. 2003), marine and landlocked salmon (Kistchinskii 1972; Seryodkin and Paczkowski 2004, 2006; Mowat and Heard 2006), small mammals (Aichun et al. 2006), large ungulates (Case and Stevenson 1991; Mattson 1997; Reynolds et al. 2002), other bear species (Boyd and Heger 2000), and even other apex predators (tigers Panthera tigris; Seredin et al. 2004). Livestock also provide food, through both predation and scavenging (Hell 1990; Frąckowiak and Gula 1992)." Their diet EVEN INCLUDES OTHER APEX PREDATORS TIGERS The 2004 reference Seredin IV, Kostyrya AV, Goodrich DM (2004) Spring diet in brown bears in Sikhote-Alin.
